Update Coming

Hi everyone, I want to apologize for the lack of updates lately. I’ve just been enjoying my summer so getting on the computer to spend a few hours updating really isn’t in my mind. But, it’s been almost two weeks without a new update, so I felt the need to just give you guys a heads up that an update IS COMING. I didn’t want you all to think I had just forgotten about the site, because believe me, I haven’t, I’ve just been busy. I have a bunch of guides from Sophie and Jolien and hopefully I can make a few icons, so expect an update either Wednesday or Thursday. Thanks for being so patient!

Guides & Youtube Channel!

I have 7 new guides for you today! 4 new makeup guides, 3 new style guides.

Back!

Hi everyone! I’m back from my trip finally. Some new guides should be coming either later on tonight or tomorrow, so stay tuned for those! I just want to take a chance to talk to you guys about something a bit different…

I mentioned the idea of starting a beauty channel on Youtube, where I’d post videos of things like makeup and hair tutorials, style ideas, clothing hauls, and things like that. The idea to me was just something I thought would never really happen, but now I’m starting to really get interested in the idea more and more. Comment telling me whether you’d like a Youtube channel or not! Thanks for your opinion

Trip

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I will be traveling for a little over a week for a dance competition. I will be leaving the 1^st of July and getting back July 9^th. During that time, there will be no updates, but maybe a small one if I find time out of my hectic schedule. But the good thing is, I have 4 guides and 3 icons for you guys! This is a huge update so hopefully it will kind of make up for the time in which I’m gone.

Another thing, our staff member/other updater, Monika, has decided to leave us due to her busy life. We wish you all of luck, Monika!

Limited Time

I added two new photoshoot guides today, one made by myself and the other made by Sophie. I know, I haven’t been updating the site with guides a lot but I do have a good reason. I’m really limited on time with dance because I’m leaving late next week for a competition out of state, in Florida, so I’ve been busy preparing for that. I plan on making a huge guide update before I leave, though.

Keep checking the Advice Page out! Also, I kind of want to start a video channel on Youtube with tutorials on hair, makeup, and stuff like that, so comment if you think it’d be a cool idea! 5 comments, please!

TCA’s/Archived Updates/Advice Page!

The Teen Choice Awards nominations are up, and Lauren has been nominated for 1 award! Check out her nomination below.

As I said before, I would try to save the old updates on Cutenews and archive them so they could be put on the site. I did that, and you can check it out here to see all of our old, deleted updates.

So a lot of people ask me advice on the chatbox in our sidebar, so I decided it’d be a good idea to open an Advice Page! You can see it here. I know there’s not that many articles, but I just started to build it so expect a lot more to come out of it!

GUIDE UPDATE

I feel like it’s been such a long time since I’ve updated! Really, it’s only been a little over a week, though, but I’ve gotten so attached to the site that I feel the need to update, especially since there’s a ton of comments on the last update! School is finally done for me, and I feel so much more relived and not stressed out anymore So, expect updates to come a bit more often now!

I only have two guides for you guys today- a hair and makeup guide, both from Kayli. I also got up 5 icons made by myself and a signature/blend from Kayli, too. I have a bunch of guides from Sophie to update with later this week, so show the love by commenting so you guys can get those This is a regular update, so let’s aim for 10 comments or even more!

EDIT: Erghhh, stupid question mark box again! Ignore it, it’s the makeup guide thumb. Click on it and it’ll still take you to the guide. I’m going to try and see why it keeps doing that!

OLD/NEW GUIDES

So I really should technically be studying for my Math and Science exam that’s tomorrow, but I felt bad for not having any guides posted on the site. If you missed the guide update I did on Sunday, it’s deleted now since it was on the Cutenews (old) updater. But don’t fear, I managed to recover all of the updates from before, and I’ll be saving them and making a page under the “Sites” section so you can view the old updates if you missed something, need to refer to something, etc.

Just to refresh you guys (since the update about this was deleted), and for any new visitors to the site, we are still going to follow the “Comments= New Update” system. Simple updates with site news or less than 5 guides must receive at least 3 comments. Regular updates, like this, with 5 to 10 guides must get at least 10 comments. Big updates with more than 10 guides must get at least 15 comments. Though it may seem harsh to make you guys wait for an update, it just helps on my part so I can keep organized, and I can hear what you guys think about everything! It’s almost summer break for me, so that means no school, so maybe I’ll remove this system if you guys are good and comment a ton

The part you’ve been waiting for: GUIDES! There’s 7 new guides, two of them from Monika just added yesterday and 5 from the old/maybe missed update that happened Sunday. This is a regular update, so at least 5 to 10 comments!

EDIT: I’m not sure if everyone sees this, but for 3 of the 7 thumbnails below, there’s little question mark boxes. I tried about everything to fix them, and I’m positive I entered everything correctly for the image to show up, Just ignore them, the three thumbnails (? boxes) are the latest 3 new candid guides under the Candids section.
